In Race 2 Deepika Padukone acts with Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham. Ever since producer Ramesh Taurani and director Abba-Mustan says that Katrina Kaif and Akshay Khanna will not be a part of Race 2, as they were killed off in the Race.

Deepika Padukone replace Priyanka Chopra for the Race 2. Abbas Mustan says our first choice was Priyanka Chopra, but due to her busy schedule she will not to be a part of this film.
